The aspirants of Jammu & Kashmir Bank PO allege that in the recently declared results of preliminary exam, the cutoff score is different for districts of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the protesters, the cut for Jammu district is 63 while the cut off for Srinagar district is 42. They also blamed the administration squarely for this as JK Bank has been kept out of ambit of RTI and the bank can conceal any information regarding the discrimination.
The protestors added that if IBPS was entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the exam, it should have been authorised to prepare the results. They appealed to the Governor to look into the matter and stop Discrimination with Jammu which has now been institutionalised. A few candidates also met Shah Feasel who assured to take up the matter with concerned authorities. He said that "The perception that public institutions are not doing justice with all regions of the State needs to end by ensuring free flow of information"
